My first endodontist told me I would need an apicoectomy due to an infection at the top of my gum where he performed a root canal. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Machado, who discovered that the original root canal hadn’t been properly sealed. Dr. Machado was incredibly compassionate, taking the time to explain all the options available and sharing his honest opinion. We decided to proceed with retreating the root canal. From the moment Rachel answered my call to Monica assisting with X-rays and support, I felt truly cared for. I came in for a root canal, and Dr. Gibbs went above and beyond, he discovered three canals in the mesial root and took his time to perform a very thorough treatment. Given that I’m dealing with a failed root canal likely due to a missed canal, his attention to detail was incredibly reassuring.
