Dr.Maloney did an excellent job on my root canal! My regular dentist was not able to get the tooth numb, but with some patience Dr. Maloney was able to get the tooth numb and the process was much less scary than I had anticipated. Highly recommend

A root canal is scary. Dr. Machado and Tammy did a wonderful job easing my fears, explaining everything step by step, being extremely gentle, and offering reassurance. More importantly, the work was done quickly and effectively, and I had minimal pain during and after the procedure. The entire staff was welcoming and the billing was done accurately and on the spot with my insurance. I never want to have to do another root canal, but if I do, Dr. Machado is the only person I will ever call!

Dr. Gibbs has been absolutely incredible throughout our daughter’s care after a severe bike accident. From the very beginning, he was personable, compassionate, and took the time to carefully explain every step of the process to both our daughter and our family, which made such a difference during an incredibly traumatic time. Because she is only 14, saving her tooth was extremely important, and Dr. Gibbs was willing to think creatively and explore every possible option to try to preserve it. His level of care, attention, and dedication went far beyond what we ever expected. Every procedure was done gently and carefully, and remarkably, they were painless. What stood out most was how deeply he genuinely cared about her as a patient and person. He even offered to come in on his day off to remove her stitches before she left for a school trip. That kind of dedication is rare. It’s so refreshing in today’s world to find doctors who are this present, thoughtful, and committed to doing what is truly best for their patients. Dr. Gibbs made an overwhelming and emotional experience so much easier to navigate, and I truly couldn’t recommend him more for any dental or oral surgery needs.

When I had a tooth surprise me and die last fall, my general dentist sent me over here for a root canal and I had a great one! The office had availability within a week, Dr. Machado did the root canal and was excellent throughout—very slow/careful anesthetic injection (less pain), very comfortable throughout. Office staff were all very friendly and helpful. Six months out and the tooth still has no feeling, perfectly happy about that. My only suggestion for improvement is that the nitrous oxide cannula was very not-awesome. Instead of the bigger cannula that goes completely over the nose, this one had a little thingy that went up the nose and did not fully cover, nor did it make a good seal. The nitrous worked, but not as well as it has worked for me in the past, but what I really didn’t like is that I could smell all the gross things from the procedure— the bleach, the burnt smell, the disinfectant— I really like the ones that go all the way over the nose, so there is no smelling of any of that grossness. (also I think having the nitrous escape out into the room presents a risk to the dentist??) The nitrous was also a lot more expensive than other competing dentists, which was definitely a letdown given the experience. While the rest of the root canal went well, I would probably look for a different provider if they haven’t changed their nitrous cannula if I need another root canal. (seriously, check out the options out there— some dentist offices even have pleasantly scented cannulas that smell like vanilla or oranges— I think the nitrous cost was like $150 or something outrageous, making it worth it for the client is worth it for business! Everywhere else I’ve been only charges $50-75).
